Carhartt WIP is Carhartt’s offshoot brand of streetwear fashion, and as the name is meant to imply, like the artists that wear it, it’s a constant work in progress.

So Carhartt WIP is throwing a one of a kind celebration: WIP FEST. The first musical festival to spotlight the demos, the rough drafts, and the dedication that turns them into culture.

The Launch

WIP Fest will round out its lineup with a call for entries from aspiring artists ready to take on the stage.

8 artists will be selected to perform a set of their own for a crowd of thousands.

WIP Fest & You

Pay What You Create

Didn't get selected? Don't worry.  Everyone who submitted an entry will receive free admission to the festival because when we say we celebrate works in progress, we mean it.

We want everyone to know, just taking the leap deserves recognition.

Bandcamp Presents: Show n’ Tell

Carhartt WIP and Bandcamp are teaming up to help turn your dreams into a reality. Bandcamp will choose 3 musicians from the Show N’ Tell set and offer them a small grant and studio space so the artist can focus on finishing their EP in a professional setting, free from the rigor of their daily lives.

The Festival

WIP Fest will take place at the end of September in Chicago, IL, and will feature music and Carhartt WIP store tents placed all around the grounds.

Live Stream and X-Ray Feature

Carhartt WIP will also be providing a live stream of the festival on their website. While each set is happening, the X-Ray feature will be providing information on all Carhartt WIP clothing worn by the artists, including item name, cost, and a link to purchase.
